GLOBAL SEARCH PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is looking for a Network Engineer – Transport Area Lead.
Job Requirements :
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in Managed Services with Telecom and IT industry.
- End to end knowledge of Optical and MW Network Planning and Optimization.
- Conversant with Microwave KPIs and Optimization techniques, planning,performance monitoring, software upgrades of MW and fiber transport of Huawei,Nokia, Ericsson and microwave equipment.
- Proven track record of leading teams to successful project outcomes innational / international engagements
- Hands-on Experience for IP Network Optimization / backhaul.
- Good understanding of planning tools (like MapInfo, TLP, Pathloss, ETRAN,OPNET, DWDM PLANNER etc.) knowing all functions in detail.
- Very good knowledge and understanding of the SDH / PDH Transmission nodes inthe network (MLE, MLTN, MLHC, DXX, OMS etc)
Responsibilities :
- Support Transport Network design / optimization service delivery for Optical and MW domain
- Setup teams for Optical Transport Network services and synchronize design / optimization processes for Delivery Units
- Continuous engagement for latest Optical Transport releases and updates.
- Develop performance monitoring & Optimization processes
- Optimization of packet based nodes and networks for 2G, 3G, LTE networks based on Customer
- Participate and add value in various Operations meetings to agree SLA / WLA between NPI & Operations.
- Interact with Customer accounts about network solutions.
- Provide technical support on development of Automation / Tools for various Optical / MW Transport Network engineering services
- Provide presentation / training to optimization delivery organization for optimization processes / tools
- Continuously drive for efficiency, improvements, automation and excellence in service delivery
- Close coordination with cross domain functions towards e2e network performance Improvement
