The Head of Deployment and Field Operations is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of Field Services activities supporting other Service Function (SF) in Operations and Engineering when in-site activities must be performed, to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. This Service Function is composed by a number of Services Elements and Activities that define the scope of work according to the Ericsson’s Managed Services offer.

This Job Role is a local function and will perform mostly in-site activities for the other Operations functions and some SIP (Strategy, Infrastructure and Product Management) functions (especially as a result of engineering or deployment activities). Ensure work is executed within Project Operational Health and Safety requirements Tools & Resources Work Force Management tool (WFM) Incident Reporting Tool

Key responsibilities for deployment:

  • Ensuring the correct and efficient deployment of the network solution / resource.
  • Establish the WLA between the deployment & integration delivery units.
  • Coordinate customer participation and reporting change assessment results to customer;
  • Holding governance meetings on deployment subjects according to MS Governance model.
  • Demanding and controlling Capacity, Availability, Security and Business Continuity Management.
  • Validating the requirements towards 3PP included in the deployment of the technical solution.
  • Supporting customer on strategic decisions regarding infrastructure deployment or integration as required.

  • On-site landlord liaison;
  • Site Information Management;
  • 3rd party supervision;
  • Service Activation/Deactivation – On-site;
  • Planned Maintenance;
  • Preventive Maintenance Execution;
  • Spare Part Handling & Logistics;

Qualifications and Experience -Sales & Delivery Operational health and Safety statutory requirements impacting E/// especially in the local market. Hazard identification and Risk Assessment, Accident Investigation or RCA, Working At Heights including Climbing and tower access, RF / EMF Awareness, Lone Work requirements, First Aid, Responsible driving and vehicle inspection.
